"We know you have questions—and I'm here with the answers."
Deciding to try a hair topper is a big step toward feeling like yourself again, and it’s completely normal to feel a little unsure. Whether you’re curious about how the clips feel, how to find your perfect shade, or how to wash your new hair, we’ve gathered everything you need to know right here. Think of this as your stress-free guide to effortless volume and total confidence.
Not at all. Because our toppers are made from 100% human hair, they mimic the natural movement and shine of your own strands. The base is designed to be ultra-thin and lay flat against the head, while the hand-tied parting creates the illusion of hair growing directly from your scalp.
Literally seconds! It’s as simple as positioning the piece and snapping the pressure-sensitive clips shut. Unlike extensions that require hours in a salon chair, you can clip this in before work and take it off before bed with zero hassle.
Toppers are incredibly forgiving. You don't need a 100% exact match because the topper sits on top and blends with your natural hair underneath. As long as the "root" color is close to your own, the rest will blend seamlessly.
If you have thinning hair at the part or crown but still have plenty of hair on the sides and back, a topper is perfect. If you have total hair loss or very little hair on the sides, you might consider a full wig instead.
Not if you wear it correctly! This is why measuring is so important. By adding an extra inch to your measurements, the clips will grip into healthy, thick hair rather than pulling on your thinning areas. We also recommend moving the clip placement slightly every few days to give your hair a break.
Absolutely. Since our toppers are 100% human hair, you can use flat irons, curling wands, and blow dryers. However, just like your own hair, heat can cause damage over time. We recommend using a heat protectant spray and a lower heat setting (around 180°C) to extend the life of the piece.
Yes, but with caution. You can typically go darker or add a toner without issue. We do not recommend bleaching or lightening the topper, as it has already undergone a coloring process and further lifting can be very damaging. Always test a small strand first! ANY alteration of the colour is at YOUR OWN risk.
With proper care, a human hair topper typically lasts 12 months plus. Life expectancy depends on how often you wear it, how often you wash it, and how much heat styling you do.
Unless you are using a lot of styling products or sweating heavily, you only need to wash your topper every 10–14 wears. Over-washing can lead to dryness, so less is more!
We don’t recommend it. Sleeping causes friction and matting, while chlorine and salt water can be incredibly drying to human hair pieces. Removing your topper at night helps both the piece and your natural scalp stay healthy.
Human hair toppers are meant to be customized! Most of our customers take their piece to a professional stylist to have it trimmed, layered, or "face-framed" to blend perfectly with their biological hair. A professional cut makes a world of difference. Toppers are incredibly forgiving. You don't need a 100% exact match because the topper sits on top and blends with your natural hair underneath. As long as the "root" color is close to your own, the rest will blend seamlessly.
